On an online site, which I do not wish to enclose, don't want people buying before me, you know, there's a Sony MSX HB-F1 System. I plan to but it, however, I noticed that there's no screen to it. Do I have to buy a special one, or would a common computer screen work?

MSX computers are homecomputers and designed to be connected to any ordinary TV. For this, some MSX computers have a connection to which you can connect a COAX antenna cable, all MSX2/2+ computers (at least I know no exceptions) have an RGB output as well. This can be a SCART connector and/or an 8-pin DIN connector. You can use these to connect the MSX to the SCART connector of a Television, or to connect the MSX to a CGA monitor. You can connect an MSX to a VGA monitor using an upscan convertor. More information can be found in the MSX FAQ |

The site is obviously eBay...
Better look for other alternatives. They are cheaper.
Try to talk to Bas Korn..... (cannot spell his surname), from the dutch club West-Friesland (is it right?)
Kind regards,
Ed Robsy
