Hi, I'm Dr Driesenaar.
Some of you might remember me as the very likeable, welldressed, sexy and attractive guy who used to write for the Golden Power Disc. Others might remember me as the asshole who supervised their gangrape, torture and attempted homicide. If you are the former then Hi, if you are the latter then you have me mixed up with someone else, really.
Besides the Golden Power Disc, I also wrote for the dutch mag MSX Mozaik. I have no programming skills, although I once won a programming contest for the MSX Beurs Zandvoort with a crappy demo written in BASIC. Still, during my MSX days, I mostly just wrote stuff.
After that I went to study in Antwerp, and then the Hague.
At the moment, I work as an assistent operations manager (I put the Ass in Assistent) for a network provider. That means I don't get to do anything with computers, but I get to yell at those who are supposed to do something with them when they don't.
My hobbies are: building and overclocking PC's, reading sci and sci-fi, Magic (online), cooking and fucking.

Sorry, I was too young those days to buy those GPDs... and too honest to copy them  But I bet I'm not the only one who never saw a GPD... so bring in some extra information dudes |

Well, they're all public domain now, so no-one will hold you back from reading them now. I'm sure you're old enough as we speak (although you might have a hard time finding all 12 issues)
I think it's best if the Dr. explains the details himself. It's his thread after all... |

Don't forget the 13th issue, which was supposed to become a website! Everything from Java programming and a forum was ready to go... Until that faithfull night when MOA was working on the scroll routines (as always), someone broke into his Villa and stole the originals. Sadly to say the backup crashed due to the mysterious burglar cutting the power lines. We will never know how great gpd#13 will be now... maybe someday the idea will suddenly pop up on the net or... maybe some bootleg copies are online at some doubtfull american internet company...no-one knows.. The Private investigations (;-))MOA) revealed nothing..except for a mysterious sticker of a sun sticked on MOA's frontdoor... We are clueless  |

How can we offer #13 when it's in the hands of... well, at least not ours? Don't be so insane, Dino; you know we lost the stuff and that's it.

Ever considered the option of starting NEW MSX groups?
The MRC has been planning a sort of development platform for quite some time now, and even though it's nowhere near finished I think we should give it some more priority. I see so many people who say 'hey I still want to do some things every now and then, but since I don't know anybody else it will never become a demo or a game!' |
