Hi, remember me? I hardly don't, so it's forgiven. My name is Dino and IF u didn't kill all your braincells just by reading this (or other means) u (dino)might remember me from an MSX group called Emphasys. Yes, me and my buddies Dr. Dries, MoA and Reinier were mostly responsible for the magazines Golden power disc (disclaimer: i don't work for Emphasys anymore, so i had nothing to do with 'it'! 8) )... together with friends RAT and Overflow we created quite a few artworks if i may be so BOLD Mostly i did art for the magazines borders as well as software menu's and game/musicdisc art. Also did some Animation work for them On the sideline, before Emphasys was started, i worked closely with Genic to create some art and menu animations for them. After the rise (and fall) of Sunrise i created the logo for them, both animation from the start of every picdisc/magazine and also the print logo for flyers. Further more, i did most work on a certain mozaik disc (the one with the anma game( maybe someone can help me))

I studied to become a systemsadministrator, while making art under the name dinomight (with the PAW sign) in free time. I worked at a serie of companies as systemsadministrator for Novell and as/400 systems and even build/administred a WAN (little wan ). I also worked at Engine software and lately i have been working on designs for cd's, flyers and posters for events and artists. I also make a lot of music lately. Mostly Progressive house based any progressive fans here?

Last, I hope we can all become a happy family of MSX-nerds until we die, posting on our Mobile Nokia's while tapping on the cursors of your old HX-10 to win YET another track and field moment, growing beards, drinking a lot of beers and shouting through the PC to 'KILL KILL KILL' that 'dude' in Unreal Tourney IX while doing bukakes on our girlfriends (if we still have them)... damn, can't reach the Doritos.

I can't programm very well. I just find it hard to see the overal picture............

Funny... Thanks to you I started to program more seriously, because I was looking up to you. You already had this reputation because you were working for Genic. Your BASIC tools ~ with mouse support ~ were stunning to me!
We both started learning Z80 asm with the help of a book, eachother and Michel Shuqair. But we found our own specializations, despite the fact that we tried to learn everything... All tricks of the trade...

Good to know that we both learned our tricks. Some we have in common, others we have not. At least we tasted a bit of everything

Looking back, the MSX was always the drive. Wonder where I would've end up with a Commodore, haha

For me too, always the drive. I learned a lot from that box and thanks to that we did a lot together to learn all the stuff. I think we owed our teamskills thanks to that. We always seemed to add to eachothers work. Ok, enuff sentiment drama

You have any idea where Steven Vanhetgoor is hanging out these days?

(for others: Steven was the guy behind the MSX Mozaik magazine. He used to live in Harderwijk ~ where Dino lives ~ but moved to a far away place @ some point, fleeing for some criminal organization).
