I have downloaded fMSX for the pocket PC and it emulates games just fine but for some reason it's virtual keyboard doesn't work making it impossible to do anything. I can't find any help files on it and have tried downloading it again, but I can't get it to work. Is there any special file I need to download to make it work?

I'm testing fMSX-CE too, and i am not even able to run a game

I don't know if RTFM..... but, linking with other post on this section, fMSXce is not a friendly emulator today

I guess it only can execute ROM and DISK, and there is some sound leaks, but the games works perfectly!! KV2 on the bathroom... cool...

I can remember a few times when my friends dragged me to see movies I didn't care to see so I just played gameboy throughout the movie, but other than that the bathroom is the weirdest place. I have already tried to read the docs that came with fMSX-CE but they're in some other language . The game I want to play is Metal Gear and it plays in fMSX-CE, just without keyboard support. But that other emulator works great with it, but since it doesn't support save states or casettes I can't save Metal Gear on it. Oh well, there are still plenty of other great MSX games I can play instead until the programmers decide to add more functionality to their emulators.

how were u able to run fmsxce? i installed the file and tried to run a couple roms but nothing happened. the readme file is also useless as it appears in symbols... do i need to download other files too? and if so, where do they go?

With fMSX-ce, the same for me -yet-

U can try with pocketMSX, it works on my iPAQ, despite the sound fail and it can't save states

I am a proud owner of a Dell pocketPC and former MSX user. Since I noticed that many emulators are available for all kinds of platforms, I reckoned that a decent emulator for MSX would also be availble... I was wrong.

And that's a shame. Of course I cannot criticize because I am not an emulator programmer, but imagine the greatness of a true MSX emulator on your pocket PC. The small screen is ideal for low-resolution 2D games! Play SD-Snatcher, Aleste and Dragonslayer anywhere!

I was very disappointed to find out that an MSX emulator for pocket PC is not yet available and I sincerily hope it will be soon. Even if the people who make it charge money for it, I don't care... just hurry up

As far as I know, MSX PLAYer (the official MSX emulator) for Pocket PC is available on the CD that comes with MSX Magazine 2.

pls msx fans and users etc etc who loves msx system!!! vote for this poll at this site, maybe they will take also msx emulator in the morphgear!!!!!!!!! for pocketpc!!
