well, since pre-ending is triumphal arch... add both the Gilian on roof and SD-Snatcher logo songs.

The required church song: KSS 27

copy and paste from my original post:

SD Snatcher - Church song (KSS 27)
SD Snatcher - Pre-End (KSS 70)

Somewhere in time those KSS ## got lost. Not my fault.

I wasn't blaming you...although it IS tempting to do so.

Recorded BMX Simulator intro

Too bad the song is only 44 seconds long and gets interrupted by the game playing in demo mode So i had to fade it out otherwise it wouldn't have an end.

My recordings so far:
Knightmare
BMX (crap, game starts demo in the middle of intro song)
Feud
KrakOut

well, recording is easy.. get some recorder software, such as soundforge, run an emu such as nlmsx with imagine, or run kss, press record in soundforge, and play all tunes. Afterwards, cut all tunes seperate, normalise them, fade the edges a little bit to avoid a DC tick, and save the tunes seperately. With a SB-Live you can do this easily..(set the mixer input to 'what you hear') dunno about other cards.. tho.

I can hear the difference between emulated MSX sound and real MSX sound and prefer the latter.

yeah ofcourse, but this isn't a commercial cd release, it's purely to listen to the tunes. Even if sounds are not 100% acurate, you can still judge the songs. This you can also avoid buzzes from the msx (at least my korean fmpac buzzes!), and recoding hiss from your soundcard.

You're right about that, but I'm also MSX radio operator and I aim for perfection

fade out is best

the mp3's are played back to back so there will be a noticeable click if there isnt silence in the end/beginning of clips.

No flame intended, but with the quality MSX radio is currently broadcasting I hardly think anyone would notice the difference between emulated songs and the 'real thing' (though I haven't listened lately)

MSX-Music emulation still has some imperfections, but I think SCC and PSG are really well emulated. Heck, they all sound good... especially comparing it with the early DOS emulators who used the standard ad-lib midi to emulate the sound :'(

Well, I for one can hear the difference between a real or emulated PSG track @ 56kbps. But I guess one has to have a trained ear for those differences. They're small.

That's why you thought the Testament and Romancia songs I send you were FM-Pac right? Trained ears, that must be what caused that mistake.

And wassup with SD-Snatcher ending...is it the staff scroll (fast paced song aka 'Coda)' or the slow song (aka 'Sunrise')?

I'm currently recording:

- Les Passagers du Vent - First BGM
- Pitfall II - In-game

Should I convert them to 56kbps ?
