That sounds like a MSX1 BullShit Product
Also, you printed the Revolution disklabels (of which I still have a dozen or so!) |

I still swear by TNIOS, the project of our previous programmer Blackbird
Too bad that one isn't as cleverly found ^^; |

| Hey MrRudi, you seem to have done lots of coding. Still, your skills only list MSX-BASIC. I can't imagine all those products were programmed in BASIC!
|
All the BCF diskstations (except for #6 on which i did not work) were completely written in MSX-Basic. BCF never learned to code assembly till they started working on Trojka. The Snout demo's were the only ones who looked basic, needed to use a lot of For/Next loops to slow it down The Arranger music disks are completely in basic too, the same goes for MoonSounds. But since some assembly routines were used (the Moonblaster replayer, screenfade routine (by MSX-Engine) and the staffscroll on Arranger III (by Remo Jongeneelen of Compjoetania) so that's why I named it "main coding" on most. The intro's, Hz selectors and menu's were all basic. As for the Art Gallery on the Dragon Disk, that is SO basic it's laughable...I didn't even try NOT to make it look basic. |

As still used by Engine Software today, the hero in "Cornbuster" the never published and therefore never finished SNES game (available for download on our site) and we're maybe adding him as hidden character in our upcoming PC title Coronel Indoor Kartracing. We also used Globey in our Powerrangers announcement back then...

That just shows the power of MSX BASIC, man, I wouldn't have guessed it...

Yeah MSX-Basic rocks! Only few people actually believed me without frowning when I told them the BCF diskstations were written completely in basic. The Arranger disks, well that's not such a big deal, it's just a musicdisk...but all the BCF demo's! Those were just a matter of very smart coding. |

You might be surpirsed I do need to do some recoding on it since I've learned some very useful new techniques.

Nope, but I did print the TNI Windows 95 disklabels. I've actually done so much with and for MSX it's hard to list them all and I probably forgot much more. |

It started as a little fun in #msx actually, but now it seems a quite realistic idea (I did have an idea for my own library system already, but this makes more sense anyway). |

That name just came to me in a flash (at least to write it that way). I never intended it to be cleverly found... but I do admit it's very catching. |

I remember you could win something if you come up with the best name for the dragon mascot of Engine. Someone I knew from MSX Club Rijnstreek suggested "Sjaak de Draak". Unfortunately, he didn't win, I thought it was very good.
