I am wondering if Konami produced an educational game called Spelling Tree for MSX?

I have seen it mentioned in the January 1985 issue of MSX User. In a article about new products from Japan

'.....the first screen shows a tree with all the letters of the alphabet hanging like fruit from the branches of the tree. At the top of the tree a mini screen shows a picture which illustrates the word to be spelled out......The Konami kid of Athletic Land fame, walks on screen and has to climb the screen to grab the letters. As each letter is chosen the voice says whether it is right or wrong. As the game progresses the Konami kid has to climb to the higher branches to avoid all obstacles placed in the way of the correct letter...........Full marks to the Konami programmers for their ingenuity - it beats the old speak n' spell hands down and shows how MSX computers can be made to speak without those clumsy extra boards that are hung on to other computers.'

I have tried a quick internet search for it and it is listed on some Konami software lists but there is no info on what platform it was for. It sounds a bit advanced for a 1984 MSX game.

Even though I'm considered being someone with quite some knowledge when it comes to Konami and MSX, it's the first time I've heard about this title and I'm quite sure it wasn't released on MSX. The only educational game Konami released for MSX had to with math and is called Monkey Academy.

Might've been an unreleased beta. Sounds like they used the Magical Tree game engine.

Apart rom the fact that this game was never released it doesn't mean it's legal to ask for the ROM (which probably isn't available anyway). Check the forum policy.
