Hello everyone. I am having trouble finishing Xak I. I am in the underground castle past the lava area. I am in a room on the 3rd floor of the castle with a wall of fire. I just got the Red Crystal when I entered this room and now I am stuck. As the version I have is in Japanese, I have no clue on what to do, and I have tried everything I can think of. Am I even in the right place? Any help that anyone out there can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you got the red crystal in the big room you had the chest from Fort Molum with you. In that case you have only to select the dragon ring and walk up to the edge. The dragon's spirit which resides in the ring will emerse and you'll be able to fly up past the sea of flames. Be sure to save at this point; I think the shooting part which comes right after that is the hardest part in the game.

If you got the red crystal from a chest on the third floor just go to the biggest room on the third floor and select the dragon ring.

Hello there. I was missing the Dragon Ring when I first went into that room. That was the item that I didn't know that I needed. Luckily I stumbled upon it and I was able to complete the game. Thanks for your help and good gaming to you.
