Can anyone let me know if this is the real title for this game, or if not, what the real title is? We're reviewing it on my website shortly and I'd like to get it right! I think it's Alter Wars but it's hard to tell from the title screen (we're using an emulator by the way), and it does seem to be quite an obscure game!

Penguin-Kun Wars, that's what the arcade version is called of which the Japanese version has the same Kanji in the title as on the MSX.

Alter Wars is just a name cooked up by the crackers that imported any pirated this game. The same reason Aleste Gaiden is also known as Aleste Special.
