Yesterday I come up with the idea to organise some kind of developer Meeting in the north of Netherland. On this day (or weekend) we can talk about developments or/and exchange code and maybe form new project teams. How many people would be interresested in such a meeting?

Now for the most crucial question of all: define 'North of the Netherlands'.

Groningen,friesland,drente or overijsel

I live in Hoord-Holland, which is much more north than Overijssel. Still, I agree with msd, it should be Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe and Overijssel. And erhm......msd uses a regional way of selecting. That's very nice of him, but to be honest.....hehehehe.....It's also a mentality thing, you know People in these 4 regions feel kinda connected to each other. Although.......Friesland?!?!

It's more a distance thing. We always have to travel to the south for any kind of meeting.

As I mentioned to Patriek during Bussum, it would be nice if a Development workshop could be given once as well. So wannabe developers can be introduced in the wonderfull world of programming...
Maybe it could be combined with such a meeting?

at irc.rizon.net. there's always someone available who can answer your questions.

Also, we want to write some courses for the MSX Assembly Page, but at the moment we are all too busy with other projects.

Very good idea to have such a meeting! (although msd already knows that ) Having workshops is also a nice idea, the meeting can be a bit bigger then because wannabe-developers can attend the meeting too!

The meeting should be somewhere in the North-East part of the Netherlands (Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel) but if someone from Limburg wants to come too, that's fine with me

and msd, such a meeting would be a good opportunity for you to upgrade my MSX2
