No standard RGB cables indeed, because Japanese use DIN RGB connectors, not SCART.
Not even all european MSX's had SCART connectors either, a lot had DIN too.

You'll *rarely* find actual SCART sockets on the back of a computer or console - they're just too big! Have you seen the size of them? Sure you can fit a few SCART sockets on a VCR or one of those big VCR-sized MSX2s, but nothing smaller than that!
All computers and consoles I've seen with RGB outputs use DIN connections - and that's kinda annoying as none of them are standardised! They use different pin assignments, different amounts of pins, some may not have sound outputs in the DIN, some may have stereo sound outputs, etc.
