Sounds good. I prolly just sold my copy for $115, just gotta send the guy some pics of it to make sure he really wants it.
Anyways, its good to see MSX still has a ton of fans. I was beginning to think I was the only one! I prolly am the only MSX fan in Texas though, hehehehe. |

Well, I love Texas and the whole southwestern culture and all that stuff, but unlike most Texans, I'm a big Japanese gaming fan. Its really addictive though. I got interested in MSX because I read on a site that it was an old Japanese computer and that it had lots of Falcom and Compile games..oh yeah, and Metal Gear 2, of course. I've been hooked ever since. I also like the NEC PC98 and the x68k (which I can't find any games for x68k besides whats in TOSEC). MSX2 is my favorite tho.
I DID have a gf that was into the whole hentai game thing, but she moved away. I can't believe the only other Japanese game fan I know in real life is a hot girl. Yeah, Texas is weird, but I like it.
I don;t even think the MSX was ever officially released in the US, was it? |

Yamaha released their CX5M but marketed it as a musical instrument.
Spectravideo might've sold their SVI 318/328 computers, which are kind of like a pre-MSX.
Other than that, MSX wasn't introduced in the USA at all. There are some interesting historical articles on 'why'... |
