Hi All,
My name is Jetze Mellema and I'm from Putten, a huge city

in the center of Holland. Married with Teunie and we have 2 wonderful kids: Auke en Femke. For living I am system manager (wtf is systeembeheerder in English) with
Capway Systems.
Back in 1985 I was 10 years old when my dad bought a:
- Goldstar FC-200
- Sanyo DR-202A datarecorder
- Fidelity 14" color monitor
- Arcade joysticks
From that moment I had a lot more friends who wanted to play at my place

. In the early nineties we bought a second hand NMS-8250 which we used for a few years and finaly sold it for 100 guilders.
A few years ago I wanted to have a real MSX2 again so I went searching and within a couple of weaks I had 3. That was the moment it went teribbly wrong: I wanted to have more and more of these fine machines.
At the moment I own about 80 different homecomputers, not only MSX:
- 25 x MSX1
- 14 x MSX2, 2+ and turbo R
- 41 x others (Exidy, Sord M5, Epson HX-20, NMS-4000, RFT KC85/3, Atari, the brand with the 'C', Acorn, etc.)
The most special bits are:
- All Gradiente and Epcom Brasilian MSX
- Russian Yamaha MSX network
My personal favorits are the turbo R GT and Epson HX-20 ( the first 'laptop') .
Last week I visited my first MSX fair, the one in Bussum and it was real fun. Great to meet other active MSX-users and a great oppurtunity to exchange knowledge and experiences. I needed that because I found that I forgot a lot of usual stuff you need to know to work with MSX. My active setup consists of a GT with Sunrise IDE, Novaxis SCSI, 2 harddisks, Philips CM8833, mouse and a Arcade joystick. I guess it's a nice setup but I feel like a complete newbie because I have to find out everything again.
So I plan to use this board a lot more!
At the moment I'm looking for a Philips VG-8000 to complete the Philips MSX line. And of course every other homecomputer wich I don't have already

.
