I think this would be a funny idea for a megapoll. I have spent days and days playing games like Maze of Galious, Nemesis 2, etc. What's your opinion about this one?

Great idea.....I spend many many and many hours playing metal gear, usas, aleste and sd-snatcher...but most time I spend on xak-1.

I remember hours of fun playing Maze Of Galious...

The Maze of Galious, Road Fighter and King's Valley

Spent hours of joy with SD-Snatcher and Metal Gear 2 (those are the obvious), but also loved YS1 and 2 (never quite got to YS3 for some reason), Dragon Slayer 6

Oh, and in the early days I did a lot of Konami games like Roadfighter, Tennis, Ping Pong... but also the all time Activision classic Pitfall (yay!) and Bubble Bobble

I couldn't afford any of those games in those days (I was 12 years old or so).
Once a year for my birthday or something I could go and buy ONE game

I think I already had my MSX for 3 years before it ever occurred to me that you could get games in a shop

But anyway, I spend most of my time with Falcom games: Romancia, Drasle Family, Dragonslayer VI and Ys1-3. Oh and yes, I do own these games....nowadays that is I didn't own them back then, but out of respect I bought them years later.

Games like Vampire Killer, Maze of Galious and Treasure of Usas were great but games like Ys 1,2 & 3, SD-Snatcher and the XAK series were ofcourse full-time RPG's. And as you know RPG's are well-known of there hours and hours of play time.

That's were I spend most of the time with... RPG's playing on my MSX. 8)

Argon's remark is an interesting one.. it once more makes clear that a copied game isn't the same as a sale-loss.

I am sorry to say that Konami wins the day again, I have finished Penhuin Adventure numerous times Rescued the princess too - they generally takes around four hours without cheating. I have finished Nemesis, and Nemesis 2 - but cheating in around two hours. My all time favorite game has to be Penguin Adventure - until my (ex)girlfriend said that Pentaro was a stupid penguin. Maybe that is why she is now my ex! 8)
