Hello MSX fans.
I am looking for a program that displays the MSX slotstructuur (with pages and their contents e.a RAM, BIOS, BASIC, FMPAC,SUB) and MSX version, keyboardtype etc.
If my memory is correct ? , it is called msxview or so. I cannot find it on the internet and the two CDROMs from MCCM does not help either.
Can you help me out |

Ok. I finally found the utility, it is called MSXMEM. It should run on any MSX (including MSX1), and it displays the slotstructure. If anyone wants it, please let me know.

A more complete MSX info tool is SysID version 1.2. It can detect several internal and external devices. It doesn't detect more recent devices like Gfx9000 and Moonsound (yet). It doesn't display the slot structure in a graphical way though.

You can use Compass its memory view aswell .

p.s. In the case of a Gfx9000 or MoonSound, ofcourse there is no way to detect in which slot it is actually inserted, as they are I/O based devices. Same goes (basically) for MSX-Audio, MSX-Music (with ROM disabled), etc.
Would make a cool program tho', one which tries to find as much as possible . All devices, and even recognizing Konami games by their RC number, and others by a hash or something... Sounds cool ^_^. |

Not all Konami titles have their RC code encoded in their code but quite some of them do anyway.
