Hi everybody!

After a long time of using this forum "read only", i decided to introduce myself, maybe some of you remember me.

My real name is Roald Andersen, and i used to be an active MSX user. I'm a member of UMF (United MSX Force), and i used to do the coordination of most of the Demo's and software we released.

Later on, i was the director of ROM (Read Only Magazine), and i also was system operator of UMF BBS, which some of you know from the time before the internet

Unfortunately UMF stopped as an active MSX group a couple of years ago, but we still are using our MSX computers. (But not to make public demo's or software anymore)

I'm very pleased to read about the ongoing change (MSX revival), it's very good to see a lot of new stuff coming out, and more and more people are talking about MSX. MSX is actually getting a somewhat brighter future.

Well anyway, i hope to talk with some old friends here, and maybe UMF will do some new things in the future, pick up the spirit again We'll see!

I've spent hours on the UMF BBS. Downloaded all the uhm.. what's his name... Crystal Score (hey Wolf!! ) S3M's back then.... good to have you here Roald!!

back then the UMF BBS had a lot of software, but after a big hard drive crash (without a good backup device ofcourse....!!) we lost a lot of files

fortunately i still have some 2000 msx disks stored in my basement, if only i had the time to put them on cd or something )

yeah i guess you're right!! so how are you??

the UMF cellar isn't anymore , i've moved to another place, but the meetings are still there... not as often as it used to be, because a lot of us have girlfriends now and they also demand a lot of time just like msx

by the way, MSI makes damn good motherboards
