project egg is hilarious! burn a CD with an emulator and a 16K game is a waste of resources. it is gone! it is old! it is FAKE! (emulators are infidel)

That's your opinion. You don't -have- to buy those games. (By the way - you don't even get a CD... you can instantly download your game after paying for it). But just because you don't want to buy those games, doesn't mean Project EGG is 'hilarious'. Like it or not, Project EGG has more than 10.000 customers and they -are- selling small games running on emulator cores again, supported by MSX Association, Aiky (Compile), D-Wonderland (T&E Soft), Microcabin, Falcom, dB-soft and many other game publishers that -are- selling their old (MSX) games legally in Japan at the moment. These are not dreams, it is not fiction, it are -facts-. There are many words I have for this surprising situation, but hilarious isn't one of them

By the way, how -do- you rate the quality of the game? "I'm not paying for 16K" seems quite stupid to me. Especially since you agree with me that most MB/GB-consuming PS/PS2/other console/PC titles out there are not worth buying at all. Every year, there are only a few games that pass the tests for me. To me, what counts is how cool a game is, how playable. There are 8-128kB games I like more than a lot of CD/DVD-ROM products uit there. So if a game is great, even if it is old, even if it is small, why would you not buy it? It's not like they are charging $100,- a game

You even forget to mention the efforts they took to deliver Ys 1 to 5 together with the premium package of Ys 6. There's no other sequel game with which the prequels are delivered as well, which are all playable at the same computer the new game is.

I have a friend named Igor Douglas

He used to dance and sing while playing msx games

One of his dreams is work at Konami, as a programmer, music composer, graphic artist or something like (i'd bet my life he'd take ANY job to be there)

He owns an alternate world where he is called Yogurata Lider Laser, being tall and having blue hair

He is a MSX lover too and he believes on msx revival, project egg and all these bullshit told here about msx coming back triumphly and taking over the world

But he never bought a single msx software. Only oldies from friends (something donated, something are loose). And the last time I've seen his msx turned on was in 96. He was playing Star/Ship Rendzvous, blindfolding his young brother when the porn scenes appear

Now please, stop acting like japanese people. [removed insulting language and link to warez-site]

Oh, yes, let's go make this a racial issue.

Those black people, they all steal, they should be shot down on the spot, don't you agree?

You, my friend, are fucked up.

The fact that you apparently don't believe in the MSX revival probably has something to do with your somewhat over-simplified interpretation of it .

Very touching story. Thanks for sharing. Think I'm going to cry now.
