For the rest, I have the right, as everyone, to be disappointed with some attitudes. My reaction can be seem excessive, but what all about all these "destructives" pictures ? If someone is excessive, I have also the right to be excessive. Of course, after some time, I will relativise my position, but it's my way to make understand some things.

By the way, when you react over copyright problems, you can also be excessive, even if you are deeply right. So, you use the same method as me ...

Since I didn't visit the Oss fair, I can't say much about Commodore-bashing, but I do have to say that I think this discussion is quite entertaining... Yet useless.

I'm not denouncing people as my friends, just because they copy a game here or there.
I'm not threatening to stop MSX activities just because some people (or even the majority of people) illegaly copy games.

So PLEASE do NOT, I repeat DO NOT, compare your 'methods' to mine!

Hmyes Rikusu, you're right. All this discussion about the Commodore is distracting from the rest of the fair, and it is getting a bit unfriendly besides, not something I very much like to participate in, and getting on my nerves. So, as far as I'm concerned, this subject is dropped.

Now, let's talk about uh... Bombaman! (hey, why isn't there a forum topic about that?!?)

I made a very small start with my website again, you can find it here (for the moment). It's still utterly empty and plain right now, but that's bound to change in the future, and at least there's a (very small) item about Oss.

This will be my last answer about this C64 demolition.

I've denounced nobody as the pictures are on the Web and that on another forum, it is clearly indicated that Dominic has destroyed a C64. So, no denounciation from my part.

Where's threatening to stop MSX activities in my messages ? I've expressely explained that my main motivation to leave the MAF forum is the absence of visitors on this forum .... I've also indicated that I continue my other MSX activities ... So, no threat from my part ... Only just an error : I've should have exposed my reaction on two different messages as C64 demolition and leaving of MAF forum are two different problems

Ok, no comparison between my methods and your methods, but there's a common point :I can now complain, as you have made, that some people can't read my messages and see denounciation or threat where there's only appreciation of a fact (the C64 demolition) and decision based on another fact (absence of visitors on the MAF forum).

I beg to differ...

Okay, and let's return to the original subject now: Oss! As I said before, I wasn't able to go so I want to know the details! Was there anything new? Did anything spectacular (apart from the C64 bashing, I know far more details than I had fancied already) happen? Nice anecdotes?

Well... a lot of forum and IRC people showed up, and we had a lot of nice chats

I had some discussions with openMSX team members about disk image formats and Gfx9000 emulation.

There was a spanish dude (Jesus, I forgot his last name.. aka [DK] on IRC ^_^) who worked on Bombaman, so that's was cool. Didn't really talk a lot with him, but he seemed to be just as cool as he is on IRC, so that's good

Too bad some announced products couldn't make it... But they'll be released in tilburg..

Oss is a great event for socializing with fellow MSX'ers, because it's just one hall it's easier to bump into people

Is there also going to be an MRC Oss2004 fair report with photoshoot ?

I really dislike the msxposse (sorry dude) photoshoots, because there's only the photographs, no explanation at all.

When MRC does a photoshoot, there's at least a small description for every photo, like that somebody that wasn't on the fair can actually figure what's happening on the photo.

I think that's because this is the second time (first Bussum 2003, second Oss 2004) that I came to a MSX fair in 7 years. My last MSX fair was in 1997 I think. So I don't know a lot of people who are walking around nowadays.

It's good to have you back on the fairs, though
