What was the most distributed SEGA game for 8-bit systems?

Safari Hunt?
If someone does not remember that game....

And if that's the game, will it come with a pistol? =D
Or will it use mouse for aim??? |

You are right, Magoo.
The beta is available at www.robsy.net and I have noticed it to MRC crew. The game is simple, but it helped me to code a bit because I am really stressed with my exams. The ROM file is 8 KB long, but in fact less than 5 KB are used.
I hope that you'd like it!
Kind regards,
Ed Robsy
Any feedback?

AWESOME pitpan! Just needs some soundz and yet another great game is created for MSX!
Though some peepz probably will NAG about copyrights, don't be bothered by that, just let them nag, be proud! And don't be bothered by the 'misleading topic' crap, I personally liked the 'topic of guessing' and you made it up by putting a beta on the net!
w00t!

Thanks for your support!
The sound engine is already done. Now I have to compose a nice melody! I prefer coding rather that composing: I do not hear very well indeed and I have severe problems to compose tunes. Do not worry: it will be ready very soon, and perhaps I will add some other details and surprises...
Kind regards and keep snailing!

Cool.
There is a home made version of Columns for MSX2.
This version is FREE.
SonyC is another unusual title for MSX 2+.
We are getting better and better after all.

Yeah! I think that the homebrew version was for the MSX1 system, and it wasn't homebrew, but korean.

Korean game?
Could be , there is some Arabic and Korean stuff.
I think that the game that I played is a different game.
It was for MSX-DOS(1?) on MSX 2 computers.
The game was simple but funny .
I also got some cool shooters for MSX 1.

As GuyveR said, the MSX-DOS version was the "official" one, licensed by SEGA and coded by TELENET. And, of course, it is neither freeware nor homebrew. It was a "pro" product, and with cool sound both for PSG and FM-PAC.

I played another Columns game.
The official one have a full soundtrack and it's very similar to the original game. Not even close to be a simple homebrew version .
Well , there is a homebrew version of Circus (not a official one).
But they changed the name of the game.
I think that most games are copyrighted , even right now.
