Im after a layout of the other MSX for there Port Connections
it seems that my Yamaha has differnet ones
what has kept getting me lost as i didnt know this
as ive never seen inside other MSX

Do all MSX have 2 Cart Ports
MSX Cartridge connector/bus expansion/extension side slot
I know that the Yamaha has a 60pin Port were normal ones only have 50
Now im guessin this is the port that holds my sound card in it (on the CX5M)

MSX standard specifies 1 cartridge slot minimum.
Most MSX's have 2 cartridge slots, and there is at least one that has 3 (Sony HB-500).
An expansion port like CX5M was reasonably common in MSX1 computers.

what about on the MSX2 boards do they have "expantion ports"

Some do... For instance Yamaha's CX7M has the same expansion port as the CX5M.

the thing is i cant seem to get hold of any more Yamahas
so ive got to look at Phillips and TOshibia
as they seem to be the main ons in Europe for sale
