An admin, webmaster or moderator should move it for you.

try CLEANING the mous.
(remove the cap (with the 3 screws) and clean the 'rotaters' where the mouseball sticks against when moving (probably a lot of 'black'/'gray' dust'n dirt on'm) same goes for the little buttons inside the mouse. Or the mechanism where the "finger" buttons are located might be dirty

I Think that is not the problem. I seem that the mouse ball is very old and don't get to the rotators of the mouse.

Are you trying to get rid of either of your mouses? I might be interested in buying one, even if they don't work that great. If you're interested send me an e-mail at monotonerecs(at)hotmail.com
Thanks,

If you have a look at HansO site there is a link to adapt a PS/2 mouse to MSX. It looks like you neede to program a PIC chip, but it can be done, and I suspect that PS/2 mice are going to be around for a long time.
Miri Software in Italy also have a ready made interface, although I see no mention of price.
Maybe someone might write some code so that a Standard PC serial mouse counld be used on MSX via a serial port? or maybe the forthcoming Ethernetcard from Sunrise is talking about USB Implementation, that may also have a driver for a mouse.
If you have an interface that uses a standard mouse then there is no need to worry aboout replacement mice for a long time.

PS/2 is legacy hardware... There already are PC's that support only USB mice. So don't count on them being around for 'a long time'.

Quite true - but then USB to PS/2 adaptors are available, so that does not present a great problem. |

adapt USB to PS2!!!! ---->>>> only if the chip on the mouse are compatible with the both protocols..
when was change the SERIAL to PS2 the firsts PS2 mouses was made with a chip that support both protocols, because that, the ADAPTERS are posible for ADAPT the PLUG for made the fisical connection. A new PS2 mosue not more support SERIAL PROTOCOL then you can't use the adapters more.... The same thing for USB- PS2.... or you thing the maker change the plug for bother???
