Hi!
I've recently received the first number of the new MSX-Magazine (the one that comes with the MSXPlayer, etc) and I would like to play some of the fan games directly with my MSX. Specially I'd like to play Astro Monsters.
Does anybody know if there's a way to extract it?

I left my copy in mint condition, so I didn't take out the CD 
What file format are they in?

I don't really know, because everything is packed in autoinstalable files, and every game comes with its own MSXPlayer... and best of all...it seems you need a japanese windows to install it...  |

I've thinking about it.... maybe executing the emulator and pushing CTRL+STOP and copying all files to the drive B??... I don't know if it would be possible, because possibly the drive B is not available while booting the games that come with the emulator... 
Anyway, I can't test it because of the japanese windows... |

Is it any legal problem with it?... as far as I own the original magazine & CD... and also it's an amateur game.

I'm not gonna tell... Especially not on this well-indexed website, coz then any lame warezkiddie will be able to do it.

it is a shame there is people on the world which refuse to pass knowledge

But Imanok it is simple to install the MSXplayer supposed you have an original.
Since I have an original I tell something about it.
But I have no knowledge to do what you want. But I know following:
So, if it is installed properly you can find out in the directory you installed it the loader
used by Intent as well as the image itself of several games.
There is no secret about that at all. So you can find out the extension
