Magic Marco!
The guy who spent I don't know how much time on creating the first 'stereo' routines, after which someone discovered you could do the same thing with a single poke...or something
Of course I remember you...you drove me to Remco in Nieuwe-Wetreing after the aforementioned BBQ in Gouda ... |

i think that was Tilburg... not sure though... but a major fair anyway, because lots of dudez were witness of the 'milkshake-pantoffel-incident' ... Jos didn't seem too happy at that time but who can blame him |

Ofcourse I remember you Marco. Always sitting in the same little room with Willem (Pasman, was it?) at MSX Club Gouda, so that we could close the door if there was too much noise (which was, I believe, always). Still have that SC-55, do you? And indeed, those MIDI routines worked perfectly...
And indeed: what happened to Martin Kruit?

Let me just add Alfred Debels, José Herps, Jocelyn [never knew her last name], Steven Vanhetgoor, Emile Hensen, Jan van Roshum, Ronald Zijlstra, Ronald Egas, René Derckx, Ruud Jansen, Jan Jansen, Jos de Boer, Adriaan van Doorn, Arno Dijkhoff, G.W.J. van der Pol and Wim Dewyngaert. Not to mention Richel Lubbers, Nico Lubbers, Hans Niepoth, Ramon van de Winkel, Robbert Wethmar, Armand Simonis, Markus The, Ries Vriend, David Boelee, Paul van Aacken, Ronald van der Putten, Cees Kramer, and A. Koene.
These names should bring back memories of MSX-gids (I think we can forgive them for the softwaregids debacle now), Sigma, New Dimension Software, Genic, Station, Checkmark, the MCMs, MST, the MSBBS, Aackosoft, Eurosoft, the author of Video Graphics/Designer Plus, Radarsoft and of course Het Grote Peeks, Pokes en Truuks Boek (met complete maps!).
And just before I go to sleep: the correct spelling of our Impact twins is Maurice and Michel Schouren (not Schauren). Too bad nobody identified me...

No? Really? It was explained in one of those MSX-Gids issues... Her real name is José Herps and she was the publisher of the magazine. She wrote about all adventure reviews using that name. |
