Which isn't a Konami title. These titles have 100% identical game-engine. Only the intro screen(s) differ from each other. That was my point to that post. But thanks for bringing more billiard games to my attention. |

Oh wow, how could I forget that one... Must've spent like 500 hours trying to finish that one... Anyone know if it has like an end-demo? Or did I finish it and did it just loop... (I think it's the latter, come to think of it...) |

Super Cooks, a very nice rpg from compile.
I'm very fond of Akin from Parallax, and the original MSX1 Rambo is quite good too.

After you have defeated the "big boss", you should get a piece of music and a bit of text that goes like "Great! You defeated Omega, and rescued the girl. The girl says 'I love you.'" Or something like that.
When you hit the spacebar, it will go back to the 1 Player - 2 Player menu at the beginning. |

A virtual girl saying "I love you" is the best ending for any computernerd
Now, where are that joystick-port controlled lips |

Saw some great games in this post
I would like to nominate Rotors. It was a great game back then, I have played it for hundreds of hours.
And Eric & the floaters should get a nomination too for being a good Bomberman game!

At least few new titles comes to mind right a way.
- "F-NANO2" and "F-NANO2'" Most playable 3D games for MSX (MSX tR)
- "Pleasure Harts" Nemesis type of shootem up with arcade type of speed & effects (MSX2, MSX tR)
- "Red Zone" Can you believe, that these 3D graphics are made in 1985 ?? (MSX1)
- "Elite" The MSX version had the largest map in the market and I've newer seen such a good 3D engine for MSX ever since or before. It is great fun to fly it on MSX tR as well. (MSX1)

There are very good old games that, from the modern point of view, belong to the old era.. They're all good, but might be forgotton.. 'underrated' perhaps. However, some old games from that same era are still considered 'good' from the modern point of view. (mostly Konami games)
An old and 'forgotton' game might be Boulderdash, while I'm sure we all played it. I'd say that makes it an underrated game
I'm sure there are more games from that era that we all played, but just forgot about it, because it's dated by modern standards.. |

Since you're mentioning only 3D games, I know another one: Return of Yelda it's called I think. It's been ages since I played it but I think it was made in screen 7, so, hi-res 3D gfx
But F-NANO2" is way cooler |

My 2 cents:
Strategic Mars, imho one of the best MSX games of all time. Strategy and shoot 'em up in one, unique in it's kind. We kind of designed DASS 2 that way, but it was never developed.
Superrunner, no other game is so addictive when it comes to 2 players
DAIVA, I don't know how many hours I spent on it, but a LOT. I never made that many notes for any other game in my life
Bosconian probably the MSX early 80's version of the brainless shooter to let off some steam
