| And Umax: Though I prefer RPGs in a cyberpunk setting (SD-Snatcher, Illusion City, PA3).....

Gotta love cyberpunk... We ought to get some group together and make a nice futuristic game... I know I'd pledge my help... |

Piece of cake. Really just put 3 skulls on the altar of eternal power.
PA3 I liked better. Also PA3 said in the end something like t o be continued.
So ehh. No that would be asking to much.
The main problem that people had with TLW was they don't know were to go which leaded quite some people to just make another mail or phone call to me. This is not a joke. I answered more questions about TLW then on all other games together. (However King Kong 2 has a good second place.)

For me personally I completely agree with Grauw, since the plot, music fits totally and I remember when I started to play another one played at the same time here in the HNague and if we found a solutiom we phoned eachtother. That was really great.
Also an argument is that the game would be popular in Japan as well cause they still begging me , when will it be translated to japanese erm..
TLW is even great, but was for me easier to play , maybe experience meanwhile
But yeh it lacked the moonsound music, music, plot fits less

Lacked Moonsound, yes. But did I just read correctly that one is working on a Moonsound version after all?

I thought that too. But I was never able to find the last skull.
I made myself an extensive list of items and weapons which I've found throughout the game. |

Will look it up in the solve I once made as soon as I can find it back.
Out of my head I know that one was on fire island.
Still there was one question which I never found out.
What did you have to do to get to fire island ? I used some safe files to check at some level but couldn't find anything in the hint code related to it. Sometimes I could go and sometimes I could not.

I really liked TLW, but there was just one occasion where I really didn't know what to do next because of the lack of hints. So I just visited every place in the game twice, et voila, I had some progress again |

Yeah Arjan, I recall that one. That was that part with that filthy storyteller, wasn't it (Gregg or something in an Inn in Chelestra or so)

There are/were serious plans to translate TLW to Japanese? |

| No, PA3 was definately better than TLW . The setting was cooler, the gameplay involved less constantly wandering around the entire world without a clue where to go,
|
You have a point here. I played it again recently and there were definately some points in the game where the progress just doesn't make sense.
Well, Dragon Slayer 6 is my favourite MSX rpg. (like it better than SD snatcher and illusion city) so that's why Lost World is what it is.

If you had sold the Dimaond trinket to the artifact trader in Chelestra, you could go. Otherwise not. |

Umax, you tested the Moonsound version of TLW? It's about to be released soon?
