Hehe, bad luck. The only problem I've had was a malfunctioning copy protection (that was in the days Sunrise was using them to a great extent). Ah well, as for TLW things, have a look HERE . Please be as nice as to add all extra features you've found

Hmmm... What do I recognize in this...?

It's just like the bug I found in one of the latest series of PA3 copies. I had my original from the MCCM-CD, but at that time, I thought it would be nice to have an original with labels and manual and such. Well, so I did. But do you remember the Hollywood avenue (or whatever it's called) with those stars on the pavement (lol!)? Well, the text routine got stuck there. I contacted sunrise, but they said - quite bluntly - that I couldn't be right and all the hard-going stuff. At a fair in Bussum (2K2, I think) I showed Rob, who then showed it to BiFi (do you remember? ), who said 'Yeah, that's not rite!'. Anyhow, after a long stage of puzzling and waiting, I've got myself a complete, working, original and labeled set again!

so the last two messages has nothing to do with Realms of adventure.
Second , having an original from PAIII via MCCM cd is thus most unlikely.
Besides Frank Druijff and I decided to make PAIII a little adapted so let see that it was has hacked. You see there was a program with it called cracked I believe.
Your copy with the new labels was a copy a my so called master disk.
However that was a damaged one and later I used Koen's original to repair the stuff.
So, yeh that took time to see what is was all about
TLW , was your own fault , you managed at least four times to damage that thing
And Darq , I donot remember you asked for new a disk ...

sunrise, of course i won't ask for a new disk. i have waited for my first set of disks for a long time and i was eager to play in that time. and like i said, i had a spare disk because i only sent disk 1 to you. do i have disk 234 twice and 1 working disk 1.

same goes for moonsound support. ill never send disks again, ill rather wait for the unlikely occasion that i visit a fair WITH 4 disks

You have a point here. I played it again recently and there were definately some points in the game where the progress just doesn't make sense.

Well, Dragon Slayer 6 is my favourite MSX rpg. (like it better than SD snatcher and illusion city) so that's why Lost World is what it is.

DS6 is a very cool game. Very square-style-like, I think (with the flying dragon and all), pretty sophisticated all...

But I like Ys more ;p...

That was really great.
Also an argument is that the game would be popular in Japan as well cause they still begging me , when will it be translated to japanese erm..

There are/were serious plans to translate TLW to Japanese?

I was referring to PAIII. Almost three months before the appearance of the first msx magazine with player I asked via Ikeda to Yokoi if it was possible to put PAIII thus into the player. But I got an answer about 1 month before the deadline of that magazine, when will it be ready. Most likely he was assuming that it was ready already.
A pity as till today because Ikeda stiill asks and says that many people share he opinion

I also donot Know if its possible , but it would a tremendous effort

pfff, there are 100s of people that speak japanese and english. translate it at once! seems to me you are just waiting for someone to knock on your door thats wants to translate. the games are years old, and nothing has been done.
stop talking and hire a damn translator!

its quite strange to see japanese games being translated to english or another language, but it seems impossible to do it vice versa :S

err, Bombaman has a Japanese translation, so it is possible PA3 has a lot more texts than Bombaman, so you might want several people to do the translations (or use one and wait a long time before he can finish it). Even if you have the translated texts, it might be a hell of a job to insert them at the right places, plus you need someone who knows how to do that. I'm not sure if Umax knows how to do it himself, since the game wasn't programmed by him. You'll also need some extra memory to store a japanese font (or replace the original one). Playtesting the game to see if all texts are placed correctly would be useful too... All in all, it takes a lot of time to do all this stuff, and it's not always easy to find people who want to do this.

Umax doesnot know how to do this otherwise it has to be done.
I am glad you understand it as regards the fonts, time and costs
Other people have only complaints , have no interest in msx I believe

You are insulting and know nothing about time it costs to import spareparts and just ordering for one person isnot quite cheap. The spareaprts come from Korea.
Those guys have even the nerve to double the costs so its quite an amount to pay for those things.
But the last I say about it to you cause you donot look around..
