I often saw these games in second hand game shops in Japan, aren't they text adventures which are only interesting to people who understand Japanese? If not, what kind of games are they?

They are text adventures based on Rumiko Takahashi's manga. I'm interested of them as a fan of Takahashi's work.

Ah, after all. Do you read Japanese then or will you just try and figure out every option until you have completed the game? Or won't you play it at all, just for the collection?

I don't read japanese. I just want the game for my collection. I have read through Maison Ikkoku as manga (my favourite) and at the moment I'm watching it as anime. So I know the story in the game.
I allready have Maison Ikkoku for Famicom and now I'm trying to get the two games for MSX as well. I have to remember to bet on your auction Rklok. |

Damn, I forgot to bid on the game.. How much did it go?
Let me know if you get one in the future.
BTW does anyone know is there any Ranma ½ games for MSX? Since there is Maison Ikkoku and Urusei Yatsura games.
