HI folks,
ok i am very new to this and heres my story. Someone bought me a Toshiba FM synth model HX-MU900 complete in box brand new (looks like its never been used) at an auction thinking i could use it with my PC (moms boyfriend knows nothing about computers). Anyway its got everything with it apart from an actual MSX computer (lol). Is there any hardware out there available that i could use to connect it to my pc (seems like it slots in where game cartridges normally do?) or am i flogging a dead horse and maybe just sell it to an MSX enthusiast?

I see there is a new MSX Game Reader USB Hardware device in the articles on this site. Would that work do you think and how much is it?

Are these units any good for music or should i just buy a normal pc one?

As you could have read, it's not for sale (anymore), so the price is irrelevant.
Furthermore, the HX-MU900 doesn't work in it, only game cartridges currently do.

It's about as capable as the first PC SoundBlaster card. That means mono 9 channel FM plus mono 8-bit sample playback.
