Hi!
I own GFX9000, but don`t have a proper monitor or TV, so I can`t get output from it. So now I have a dilema: either find some way to transform RGB into VGA or into Component singnal, so I can see output on PC monitor or on my TV. Or... just sell this cart to someone who has SCART TV and so can enjoy it right away.
Before I sell it I would like to know what software does support it. If someone could please list all the programs that support GFX9000, I`ll be very grateful.
Thank you,
Adrian

You live in Canada, right? I think you can buy a scan-doubler somewhere there and if not you could mail-order one from the US. How abute that idea |

I guess I can get the super-hyped XRGB2+. Console gamers are very happy with it, but it looks like it works better with CRT monitor, and I only have NEC 18" TFT (1280x1024)...

...but if there is a cheap (up to 20$) way to get somehow RGB to S-Video (i.e. separate chroma/lumina), I'll take it |

There is some soft and soft in the making. For starters check out my homepage

You can also find some stuff on ftp.funet.fi .
I most note that most gfx9000 software requires dos2. |

There's plenty of software for the GFX9K. For example Paint9K, GFX-AGE (they're both drawing programs), PicView (GIF/BMP picture shower for the GFX9K), EVA for GFX9K (Video display capability, seems to malfunction with my CD-ROM drive tho ), a whole bunch of GFX (i.e. every pc BMP picture fits, as well does any GIF picture).
Finally there's a small game, PacNac, there are several demos which support GFX9K, for example Compjoetania's Calculus. Furthermore we have PowerBASIC (sic) and G-BASIC (yay!), which can both be used for development. The latter was originally meant for Video9K, but it fits well with GFX9K.
There's a multitasking OS for MSX (preferably Turbo R) and GFX9K, known as WiOS. Try downloading it from the Sunrise for MSX web page. There you'll find loadsa GFX9K soft. Eventually I have some software for you , incase you can't find what you're looking for.
Regards,

Yeah, Marcel Delorme's MSX page 0wnz! Try MAGIC (in case you've got a Moonsound). It should be great! I haven't got a Moonsound, so I can't tell. msd has also made some BIOS for the GFX9K Check it out!
msd --> you rule. Definately. |
