I completed memory upgrade on my A1WSX computer, and while I was working with the motherboard, I've noticed that two biggest capacitors have some sort of goo on them. It's dry and hard.
Is that normal, or I have "leaking" capacitors and better replace them with fresh ones?
Computer seems to work stable, but if capacitors are dead, I'm afraid it's no good...

That brown thing, is glue, come from factory... is for fixed the big capacitor and avoid to future connection issues.

Yes, just see it as a piece of elite sticky tape ^^;. Philips/Sanyo machines have such kind of construction as well.  |

Don't worry, if those caps were bust the computer wouldn't even start. Well, that and caps tend to go out with a bang, trust me you'd notice...  |
