| Yes you can. They were playing Nemesis 2 in MadrisX 2003 with a dance revolution mat. That was quite amusing to see ;P

Maybe a revenge game in Bussum 2004, or via Gamereader ...

DARN!!! I've only got NV1/2/3/5/6/7/8/9 of 1999. No other ish, and the 4th ish is missing (presumably the April issue... ) Maybe NBNO will be heading for Bussum this year... |

Sunrise! It would be wicked if you could get this ready and available for Bussum. Or maybe we can arrange some pre-sale unit. Then we can do DDR at the fair!!! ^____^
Anyways, you can sign me up for one of those adapters (even without the software, for that matter).

| I have a few adaptors laying down overhere. I had made a deal with him to sell them overhere. But unfortunately, you cannot sell without software. As seen above it exists so I am now busy with getting the software overhere.
To say some about the adaptor, well one side is a joystickconnector in the middle cased with a pic processor the logic and the other side the connector to psx

Well.. I was doing a game called "Let's Dance", which was exactly a Dance Dance Revolution type of game, and would work perfectly with the psx pads (with adapters of course)... I just stopped it's development due to some timing issues on different MSX's, which would require a rewrite of the code... |

What's there to time? Hell, the program can be like 10 ints behind and it'd still be faster than you'd ever be able to move your feet... right?

Do you think people can die from playing Hyper Olympics on a DDR-controller? |

Not the input that needs timing, but the actual sync beetween the song and the arrows that goes on the screen |

Coincedently I recieved my Playstation to MSX converter today (ordered by Ikeda). I don't know if it is the same one as sunrise has, but it's basicly plug-and-play, converter in msx, controler in converter and go! A dancemat is a regular playstation controler so no extra 'drivers' needed to use that to play any msx game with it.
Too bad sunrise didn't sell them at tilburg (or I missed it), otherwise I would have bought it there instead of importing it.

Not possible without a special adaptor if such a thing exists... I could make one for you if you sacrifice a controller... There's plenty of sites selling DC controllers for around 5 euros, so it would prolly be cheaper to cannibalize a DC controller than it would be to buy any kind of adaptor. |

How hard can that be? Just use the play data you're using to play the music in the first place... Sync your 'dance' data track (I assume it has something like that) to the step-counter of whatever replayer you're using... Again, timing needs to be about right, but it's not something that needs to be *that* accurate either... The only hard part I can think of with a game like that is the queueing and sequencing of the input data... Well, that plus all the arrow shit |
