Yes, the maximun size in screen 2 (like screen 7 of the BASIC), is width 85 height 25 (with chars mode 6x8 pixels), you can set chrs mode 6x6 pixels and you got 85 columns x35 lines-
By default is used a windows of width 60 height 15, for get a good and nice and quick scrooling.

Does it also support an 8*8 font? It would be great if you can implement 16*8 too, I love the way DOS2 looks in Kanji mode... It could serve a similar purpose for the MN-BIOS I guess... It's scrolling though, just in case... How do you scroll by the way? In patterns or with a YMMM?

Pitpan, take a look to the test demo of the MNBIOS site, it works under openMSX. You can set the window almost the whole screen. Smaller window = faster scrolling, but I have to say that the overall speed of MNBIOS is quite impresive.
The main thing that is worrying me in MNBIOS is compatibility with the MSX standard. I hope that Flyguille get it to run under almost every MSX 2 or superior computer (do not forget turboRs!  ). |

List TO-DO to finish the last DEMO VERSION

1. TO rewrite the DRAW_WFRAME (that one that draw the windows frame).
2. TO rewrite the MULTITASK WINDOW, BUT LIMITED.
3. TO write the EXEC aplication bridge function, BUT LIMITED.
4. TO write the bridge of the COPY function.
