Hey,
I have an NMS8250 (AZERTY version), but I only have a QWERTY keyboard for it.
Is there any way to change the layout without having to change the rom ?
Thanks.

Can you just swap the keys on the keyboard ?
On my Yamaha it's very simple.

For azerty there are a lot different keys.
Most easy is changing the roms to qwerty.
Azerty is not easy to type because you always need shift for the numbers or you have to use the number part on the keyboard.

I am sure SHIFT+number is not only AZERTY keyboard problem - I have the same feature on my russian Yamaha.
I am even surprized there were MSX keyboards that don't require pressing SHIFT for numbers...

Hi Cax, good to 'see' you!
Actually my Yamaha YIS-503IIIR and the YIS-805 I own are the only ones with the shift-number thing. I don't see that on European, American, Japanese or Brazilian MSX computers. |

I guess I'll have to ask Repair-Bas
He should still have keyboards available...
@Jazzy:
did you receive my mail ?
