The only known software to me for LPE-Z380 is my own GEMZ, Gameboy Emulator for MSX with Z380
BTW, maybe it would be a cool idea for a Z380 mailinglist. This way users and developers can share experiences. For instance, it's unclear to me how many ppl actually own a Z380, so I'm not very well motivated to develop more...
Also I, as a developer, have a lot of questions about LPE-Z380 and EV4 which Padial seems to be unable to answer. There's a huge lack of documentation!

Padial develops hardware without software?

That isn't so strange.. The guy who designed the MoonSound and Gfx9000 cartridges didn't write any software for them either.

Didn't Henrik Gilvad extend BASIC to support the GFX9000?
Anyway, it doesn't really matter who writes the software, but it really helps if there is some software for a new piece of hardware when it's released. In the case of the MoonSound, MBFM and MBWAVE enabled composers to start using the MoonSound immediately. Actually, I think that even today MoonBlaster is the only tracker for MoonSound, isn't it? Also, the MB replayer sources helped programmers getting to know the MoonSound.

I think it's a good idea to make such a mailinglist Guyver! I don't know either how many people own a z380 but I am afraid that I am the only one using your Gameboy emulator. (which by the way ROCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!!)

Quick reply: I will not write a OS core for a CPU I don't have. It's nonsense. How could I even test it?
BTW: if someone hacked openMSX to emulate Padial's Z380 CPU I could start such development. But I don't think there's someone so crazy to do such thing. |

thats not such a bad idea adrcunha
so openMSX needs: GFX9000, Nestor's NIC and Z380 emulation. |
