@Argon: @BiFi: It's not for an MRC challenge It's a BrainGames competition.
It is not a Braingames competition either. Braingames is just one of the competitors of the Retro Remakes competition:

Good luck though! |

Dragon Slayer VI (Legend of Heroes) was published by Falcom for Windows and PlayStation as well, but they're more like ports from the original 8 bit versions than remakes.
A remake of Sorcerian was made by Falcom as well. Although I bought it a couple of months ago, I didn't find the time to install and play it. Can't say whether it truly is a remake or if it is an entirely different game.
The same goed for Hydlide, which was remade for Windows as well. The graphics and music are better, but the game itself is hardly different from the original.

A remake of Puyo Puyo would be nice (especially Skyhawk would like that). Make sure you add fever mode!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got 2 puyo clones on pc already... not worth the bother.
I'd say; check the "worst MSX game ever" poll, await the result and proof us a better version of the winner of that poll. that'll be interesting.

That would surely be nice. "Make the game as it was meant to be-challenge"!
And Puyo Puyo has been remade for almost every system I can think of, indeed. But Puyo Puyo with fever mode, like yum says, is only available for PS2 a.t.m.

And what about REAL MSX remakes? I mean, porting other system games to MSX. That would be more interesting, don't you think so?

I admit that also has my preference. There were some cool games on other computerplatforms. An MSX version is always cool.
