And what about REAL MSX remakes? I mean, porting other system games to MSX. That would be more interesting, don't you think so?

That's what I've always wanted (and tryed to do) ... we need more games for our system!!

Maybe a theme for the next contest (I know, lets finish this one first ).
Who makes the best sequal for a game. For example SD - Snatcher 2 or H.E.R.O. 2

But the best thing it to try to port from other platforms to MSX.
Like a Zelda port to MSX

Well, I guess a game like Ys 4 (Mask of the Sun) would be portable to MSX...

you mean that one with the pirate that looked a bit like a duck?
(dunno of any pirate game, maarten)

I've got so many plans and ideas but not the time to actually realize them.. sight. At the moment I'm like very busy coding some basic functions (well some extensive coding here dudes) for a CMS/user system for J's new website (gonna rock...it's about the MSX scene incl. softs (demos, songs etc)) well not to give a way to much... Then again I've got the kernel to get booting again (the darn thing has some serious bugs in the loader system .. )
The duck game (fubsy).. still thinking of that one. Maybe first start off with a little smaller game (and less complicated ideas to code) . .
so euh, whaz the pirate game gonna look like? (you're the project manager?)

..still DREAMING of Fubsy (or atleast come up with new ideas, but never do anything with them) And, yes, the fuzz is lazy. we all know that.
you know, the thing is we (the fuzz, me in particular) have always been crazy about some 'allround-easy-to-use' "system" for anything which would take more time coding it than the whole project (and therefore killing it)

Take the F-kernel for example; it was build during the development of Nosferatu (another dead project) and look where we ended.
For Fubsy I did build a state of the art Animation-Engine already (including GFX and Sprite objects, even linked and combined.. whatever) It took more time than I actually planned.. okay, now I got this super engine which prolly isn't super at all. but that has to be tested on a reallife project.. one like Fubsy (where I wrote the damn thing for in the first place).. but again, the kernel needed an update and there we go again... sight. WE NEVER GET TO THE POINT.
So we end up having LOADS of music (either Wolf or Knoz products) and a PILE of GFX (mostly my work...), STAGS of great ideas . . .but no code to make it all bind together....

(sounds familiar?) but hell, still dreaming.. still raining..
