Or Coaster Race (the 2 player option is original and very funny!). And I remember owning a racing game called "Indy 500". I'm quite sure it was one of my very first MSX games, but it might have been a C64 game as well. As I recall it, the game didn't look that bad at all, but I found it to be extremely boring at the time. |

Now,
Dragon Slayer IV and Ghosts 'n Goblins are the ones I'm most interested in in doing a remake of...
However, I'm not sure any more I will be able to do it, since I'm applying for a new job. If I get the new job, I will have to work

I have a suggestion for the status pages. Please add screenshots of the game
Now with the other competition I have to download and play the game to see how it looks. |

If you are talking about MSXdev'04 status page, I won't add screenshots to it. But as soon as the contest finishes, I will create individual pages for every game, with more information and screenshots, of course.
But at the moment I am still very busy preparing the other entries.

of course I know there are few tunnels in Hyper Rally, but without it and the horizon, it´s basicly flat as... err.. flat earth? and those lightnings are in the SKY not on ground level... ok, I am not going to argue about lightnings.. put cartridge in and played just one game of Hyper Rally last night and for a long time, it looked and sounded brilliant! (of course!) I am not blaming the Hyper Rally, but just want to get betterized version of it! (Super Hyper Rally??)
I haven´t tried SEGA´s HANG ON for a LONG time, but as I remember it from the eighties, it looked nice, and music was nicely done, but it was TOO easy to beat . You could play it FOREVER... until you were too frustrated because there was not any hope of game over... game had nice touches as those lampposts along the road! and colourful bikes looked really good after many speccy translations. |

For Fubsy I did build a state of the art Animation-Engine already (including GFX and Sprite objects, even linked and combined.. whatever) It took more time than I actually planned..
|
So what can that engine do exactly ? (just curious) |

Talking about screenshots, how come there isn't a complete MSX games database with scans and screenshots, reviews yet ?
I'm thinking something like www.lemon64.com but for the MSX.
I know there is generation-msx but it's far from being as complete... |

I've always had this planned for MSX Banzai!, but never had the time.
I'm in the process of converting the whole site to php & sql, so things like this would be fairly easy to manage.
So I would love to host this on MSX Banzai!, but it would need a few people to help out...

Would be great. This kind of stuffs can't be done as a one man project but if many people contributes and fill up the DB, it could be completed in no time. |
