[u] The Saga Continues[/u]
Some little 7 months after the first devcon I mentioned the term 'devcon' on IRC .. let's do it here as well 
This summer of 2004 sucks bigtime already, perfect climate for developing. While the first devcon was unintentionally a bit of an insiders-meeting, if there'll be a new devcon this summer then it should really be open to msx-developers, or wannabe-developers of all flavours. The primal goal of Devcon was to have some constructive meeting for ppl living in the north of NL, who usually have to drive all the way to Bussum, Oss or Tilburg to meet 'n greet.
I just throw-up the ball here .. if there are ppl who want to attend a potentially educative meeting in the north of NL (Hoogeveen), then hit the reply button ..
Development should be about basic/asm programming, graphics, music, general game-design or demo-design, cross-development.. you name it.. At Devcon'03 there were MSX'es and PC's of all types running software of all types, it's quite impossible to have a creative question and don't get useful answers on these meetings!

I'll be there as well! That is, as soon as I got to know the time and such... A friend of mine (MSX addict as well  ) actually lives in H'veen, so that's easy then . |

30 seconds outside Hoogeveen with the car.. the actual Devcon party was in Noordscheschut ...

hey, not that cafe again eh wolf? I could bring my ass over too, if I would.. dunno yet. It may be bad weather (as in good coding conditions) but I've just got too much other stuff on my hands (including a 40h job) but hell, I'll think about it. atleast I got a new car so attending would be a piece 'a pie.

No it doesn't. It's quite normal actually.
It's just that the summer of 2003 was exceptional (and horrendous). |
