Well,yeah ! Looking for the .kss files of konami games,so i can convert them to waves (and play them on the radioshow of 19 december).I have kingsvalley 2 and such,but can't find quarth Any idea where to look for all SCC and KSS stuff?

And should this stuff REALY be played at 60hz? My god if so,then I understand why the japanese are so hyperactive hahaha ! I thought 50 was well enough,though it should be played at the original speed that they use in japan....hmmmm

I collect msx-es a bit,it's surprising how many models there are.

All japanese software houses compose their music for 60Hz as it's the speed they know. To get to know the .KSS file format I converted the music of almost all Konami titles to that format. Currently missing are Snatcher, F1-Spirit 3D-Special and SD-Snatcher. Also I have a feeling I'm missing one Uranai Sensation tune.

You can also use POKE-1,(NOT(PEEK(-1))AND240)*17/16 and you'd be working on all of them.

but hey,if you KNOW you have an msx already,poke-1,170 is kinda short hahaha ! I had to type it in as a kid,don't think those equations would have stuck with me

I'd use some ASM to select the right subslots but hell with it.
(that's what that famous poke thingy does u know... or don't you?)

I have those files too already, but I want to make them myself. That's the educational part. I've learned a lot already making the KSS files myself. Especially concerning the memory map used.

Yes, we know, but most of the coders back in the past didn't. (or didn't care) What is worst people added these POKE -1,170 type of pokes to their loaders, so that there is was no way, that you could use them on other MSX computers without modification.
