The drive doesn't really "process" sound, does it? Hell, my head makes noises when I try to 'connect' it to an MSX, that doesn't make it a sound processor, does it?

Dunno the exact name of the chip but IIRC, it's the same as the one in the legendary Yamaha DX7 synth.

the DX7 has 6 operators based on sine-waves .. I don't think any MSX-soundchip has 6op FM
but.. anyone with specs on this one? |

Bussum 2004 was the 16th one (http://www.tni.nl/products/bussum/). Assuming there was 1 every year, the first one would be in 1989, in Zandvoort. It seems there was one on 23-9-1989 (http://www.msx.bas-ditta.info/teksten/beursboekjes.htm).
I'm not sure Zandvoort was the first big Dutch fair, but I'll post this guess anyway.
