Hmm it looks that the drive/belt has become problematic. (drives doesn't read a thing )
Now I thought well why not open it.
So what's the problem you guys will think.
Well the problem is after I removed the 6 screws and trying to lift the upperpart.
The upperpart seems quite stuck in the middle.
Untill so far I haven't used any brute force.
But I wonder is there a special construction trick.
I can lift the side partially up but the middle really seems stuck.
So what am I doing wrong or what am I missing here.
So how do I get it open.

at the back there are 3 notches... I guess you found the two notches close to the curves. The third one is located halfway the back above the second cartridge slot, close to the printerport side.

Even after removing the screws, it is still pretty tightly closed.
You do need to apply some force to open them up (from experience).

Unscrew the 7 screws on the bottom. Open the casing from front to back, starting at the end the keyboard is at. Start 'popping' these notches one by one, but take care as you get to the back end of the computer. You will need to 'pop' the side where the power button is first, then 'slide' the cover slightly to the right when popping the side that has the drive's eject button.
Before removing the cover completely, unplug the two flatcable connectors that attach the front-switch and led-display to the main board. After removing the cover, unscrew and remove the keyboard. Take care not to rip the flatcables of the keyboard, which are very thin. Then unscrew and remove the diskdrive. The rest should be pretty simple.
