well.. that was the big prob when the Gfx 9000 was released...
It's just like the chicken and the egg thing...
People don't want to have a GFX9000 cauz there is no software,
People don't want to code for GFX9000 cauz there less people that own a GFX9000..

I already knew people would like a game for the gfx9k
There isn't much software for the device and as far as i know there is no game for it.
I hope i can buy a gfx9k this motnh (development will start as soon as i have it)

I find it kinda surprising there's such low activity for the g9k .. perhaps there're tools lacking such as dedicated g9k designers.. but then again.. it has sc5 compatible modes.. so (correct me if I'm wrong) any sc5 game could run on g9k with improved palette and an extra layer to make it look better ..

Besides, creating GFX for a GFX9000 game with 'ordinary' GFX tools like PSP and Photoshop is relatively easy compared to creating 16-color GFX. Looking at the enthousiasm right here I think 2005 should be the year of GFX9000 software! |
