I once heard, that somebody has (or has made) an Eggerland 2 walkthrough. In the interest of avoiding more sleepless nights, could anybody give me a hint where to find it?
And talking about hints, there is a field where the hint is a green sleeper, and i can only enter from below. I cannot do anything but to bump into the green creature. Help!
Third point: back in the 'old' MSX1 days, I have made some Eggerland 1 levels that were so hard, that most of the time I could not solve them myself. Do you know of any MSX site, that collect Eggerland custom maps? It would be nice to strain the brain over other people's maps...

IIRC in part 2 of 'Het grote peeks, pokes en truuks boek' (translated: The big peeks, pokes and tricks book) the complete Eggerland 2 walkthrough was published.

I know which screen you mean . Here's the solution... Walk into the screen and set the sleeper asleep. Then walk away from it one step and bump into it again. Repeat that action several times and an item will appear, with which you can walk freely through te field. Good luck! |

You must be kidding? Who would ever think of a solution like that ;-)
Did you find it out yourself? (hopefully that's not painful question!)
I still think that if anybody is still into making custom levels for eggerland 1, it would be great to collect them in the download area and have a dedicated topic about it. Too bad I lost own-made my old levels...
I my opinion, the possibilities for eggerland levels are endless :-)

Wrong !
Actually, the site is now at this address :
http://msxvalley.msxblue.com/
Please note that this site is in French (an English version is planned when blueMSX development will leave me some time to make other things ..)
For Eggerland 2, I have the complete solution in Dutch (already mentioned).
If you need help, send me a screenshot of your location in the game (and use for this blueMSX of course ) and I'll give you the tips for the concerned screen. |

Hi there. I'm happy to see there are fans of the old Lolo games, or in this case Eggerland. It's a great series. The MSX games are interesting to see the game's roots.
If anyone is interested in playing an altered Lolo 1 game with 50 new maps, I did up a rom hack last month. The IPS to patch a Lolo 1 rom is here:

Well, not for the MSX ones, but if you can find the Windows version of Lolo there are some Japanese sites. Lots of maps, lots of demos to show some of the strange "bugs" in the Windows game too. Though, you may be in luck partially if you play my hack.
Anyway, if anyone's interested in any further info or has comments about my hack, I'll try to answer them. |
