Acouple of quick questions re subject item:-

1> Is a demo available for this product, as I'm considering purchase - but would like to give it a try first.

2> I'm in the process of sourcing/buying a real MSX computer - but using BlueMSX 2 emulator at the moment - will Compass work under emulation.

Concerning your 2nd question: Compass will most certainly run in any emulator. I myself use NLMSX (not often, because I've got an A1ST myself ), but it will work. I'm not too sure whether or not a demo exists...

We made a demoversion for the MCCM Milenium CD's.

Compass is certainly the best assembler that runs on MSX, but why not use a cross assembler? It's a lot quicker and you'll never run into memory limitations. For C-BIOS, we succesfully used the following cross assemblers:

• Pasmo
  
• SjASM
  
• tniASM
