8220 aren't as common as 8235, 8245 or 8250s. I guess that's the reason the price went too high for you. But why don't you try placing your bids on a 8235? Has an adjustable kb, simple sided diskdrive (which you don't need to use), 2 cartridge ports, SCART out, 2 joystick ports, 64kB memory, 128kB VRAM. It's the ideal machine to play cart games on.

Ohw, I forgot the main advantage: they're cheap, 'cause no-one wants them (mainly because they lack enough memory and the single sided FDD). Good luck!

There is one 8235 for sale. Minimum bid 20e or Buy It Now at 30e , but i'm probably not going to bid on it as i'm trying to get a CD-drive for my PC Engine console, so i need money.

8235 for 25 or 30 euros is still expensive. 15 would be a very fair price. When you're spending 25 or 30 euros, you should get a 8245 or maybe even a 8250 for it

The NMS8220 is a nice collectors item. But with its missing diskdrive and low memory not a machine I would recommend for a general purpose MSX-2 machine .

As others said: get a NMS8245 or NMS8250/55.

Yep, the US version, which is a shitty useless piece of junk, by the way, is called the Turbografx-16. There are atleast a dozen diffirent versions and/or expansions of the original Japanese console plus three diffirent US machines. Both licensed and pirate clones also exist. Just got the Interface Unit from France, only the CD-drive is still missing. This thing needs a hell of a power supply, 9V 1450mA.

Thank's for giving me some advice on those prices. Would anyone happen to have an VG-8235 for sale for 15e+shipping? I might be able to buy one if i can pay for it with a wire transfer. All i need is the main unit in working condition, altough a SCART-cable would be nice too.
