Hello friends
I am trying to load metal gear 2 into a 1Mb megaram I have, the screen freezes after the ROM is loaded. (I.e. it says 100% loaded then just stops?!?!?)
The same game works fine on my MSX2, and i am using the patch file, does anyone have any ideas?
Is there a way to make Konami megaROMs display there text in english rather than japanese ?

for that you need to patch the megarom(s)... you need to look for the following sequence:
3A 2B 00 E6
and replace it with something like:
3E 01 00 E6
but... didn't ExecROM have an option to force language?

i found that i can specify the international option, so that EXECROM forces the ROM to display english  |

Did you use MSX-DOS version 2.30 from ASCII?
ExecROM freeze or reset on Turbo R when using older MSX-DOS from
Microsoft ...

Tested MEGARAM DDX 256KB.
It does work in MSX Turbo R.
Also the MEGARAM 512 KB from Ademir also works in MSX Turbo R ...
