Try to find me this one This is the missing key for a near purrrr-fect WSurplusX, I still miss the front buttons (ren-sha turbo and wapuro menu) but I can live without that. I can't live with external cables/drives. Oh my. |

Nice work on the keyboard ribbon cable by the way... This is what eventually killed my ST, from which I'll be looking for spare parts... So far I've only found the mainboard tho I'll also try and see if I can find the Rensha and Firmware sliders, but I'll be honest, I don't quite remember *where* to look! |

Well, if I can't find the tray, it should be quite easy to make one out of some aluminum... If you want I could measure the tray in my GT. Basically a small sheet of aluminum with a couple of holes should do the trick. Heck, you can even cut that stuff with kitchen scissors! Well, if you don't mind throwing them away afterwards... |

Thanks, this is just graphite and transparent nail paint, anyone can do it at home. But in USA you find better/easier to use conductive paints...So bad these cannot be found in Brazil. I'm looking forward your goodies Thanks a lot! |

Hmm... I just looked, and the *only* thing I couldn't find was the darn case... I found my mainboard, three(!) drives, the keyboard and a drive flatcable. Unfortunately though, no case... Next time perhaps I should look before I open my big mouth I am sure it's around here somewhere though, I'll try and take another quick look this weekend to see if I can find it... |

2 years ago I was fixing a FS A1WSX (I could fix the internal power supply and convert it from 125 V to 220 V) but it was quite difficult, mainly because I couldn't find the service manual or technical documentation about de PCB.
DId any of you notice of where could I find these documents? (I don't understand why is not in funet or other public site, I guess Panasonic won't sue anybody for use this obsolete information)...

It's probably not on funet or another public site, because no one took the trouble to scan it, most likely because no one has it.

I put the voltage conversor on the other side! I toasted the internal power supply, and it was a mess to find correct input pins to PCB in order to install a new power supply... finally I found a place where the damaged power supply could be "dismounted" and "remounted" to work at 220V (directly changing the number of wire spires)
Now is fixed and working perfectly at 220V, but thanks anyway!! |
