May be dram chips are busted (they are sensitive to static electricity discarge), may be you accidentally cut more connections then you has... Who knows?

very bad 
the machine is DEAD!!!.. i KILLED it 
the only msx i have left is a NMS-8250....
i cannot see a msx again!!! for now
dutch people come and get THIS!!
MSX2+ and a TURBO-R GT
both broken.. price: free
usefull for spare parts??
YM2413, ROMS/EPROMS... VDP etc etc..
but don't worry about me, when i got the money again..
i will buy a turbo-R ST |

check on the board if the wire j21 to j31 is ok
because you cut j21 and the wire down is damaged on picture
