Hi dexx,
check connections between ram chips(pin), and the PCB wires. Try pulling the wire( with a razor )and check it with a polymeter.
(excuse me for my english)
good luck

Could I have the tR please? I still have a working main-board from my old ST lying around and I'd really like to revive that old beast. Assuming the rest of your tR still works that'd be pretty easy to do. If I get it working I'll even give you some money for it so you can buy a nice game or something... |

By the way, liked your japanese PS keyboard demo, never seen one before

Are you willing to sell your ST mainboard. If so, what do you want for it |

I'm getting an FS-A1WX and uh, now I'm scared to do the 512K RAM upgrade. It has 256K though, so it should still run a lot of stuff.
How easy is it to build an Ese-SCC cartridge? I know finding a game cart with an SCC in it is going to be a world of pain, but where would I find a 512K SRAM chip?

Wait, does the FS-A1WX come with 256K by default or 64K by default? Looks like this page is wrong, and I AM going to have to do the upgrade. I have the chips and everything, but it makes me hell of nervous that the previous guy who did it somehow toasted his machine despite following all the directions. |

The page is wrong, it comes with only 64kB RAM. See close up photos like this. There was no MSX2+ machine at all which came with more than 64kB RAM. |

Well, it's somewhat reassuring to know that I couldn't have done too much better.
The FS-A1WX,WX and WSX use the exact same motherboard right? Only with different sockets populated? From the photos they seem somewhat different. Maybe there's different motherboard revisions floating around?
Has anyone ever done this hack successfully on an FS-A1WX?
