Any hope for a sonyc that skips that "disk check" and runs from HD?
my tR 3 1/2 fd is broken...so no sonyc on real msx for me  |

Or you could fix the drive.
Just a hint from another one who has a tr with a broken fd. Still not had time to fix it.

Sonyc is freeware since two years ago.You can download a non protected version from my homepage |

Ooops my fault!
I had the version from your page, but since I was getting a "drive not found" message, I assumed it was a copy protection of some kind... actually it was the fat16 driver

Unfortunaly I do not know how to do it... and yes, I've checked the belt, change it with a new one and the problem still there - every disk I try I get "disk offline" |

Did you tried a formated disk?
Try to format something in MSX-BASIC. 
If this work, use a PC to write/copy programs in the formated disk.

I played this game in a MSX Turbo R!
This game works with 256 KB RAM ...

Will this game work if some install only 128 KB Mapper?
There are a lot of MSX 2+ computers that don't have a memory mapper!
There are some circuits that are necessary to install the memory, maybe with some tutorials ...

I think - although not sure - the game works on a standard MSX2+ setup, 64kB RAM, so to say...

Iirc a mapper is standard in 2+. Only the mapper is just 64KB.

Main mappear = inside the personal computer?
There are some modified MSX computers with more memory ...
